De Gemeenschap van Sant’Egidio participeert in het project ‘Deel je kracht’ van de Gemeente Roosendaal. Het project om eenzame mensen te ondersteunen was zeer succesvol tijdens de eerste coronagolf. Ook in Roosendaal is de Gemeenschap van Sant’Egidio actief. Een belangrijk deel van de activiteiten is het werk met de ouderen. Veertig ouderen worden regelmatig bezocht door 15 vrijwilligers.
